Our Integrated System Policy
Erciyes University Drug Research and Application Center (ERFARMA) regards corporate knowledge as an extremely valuable asset. ERFARMA aims to minimize the risks that may arise regarding the Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability of corporate information and the effects of these risks.
As ERFARMA, our main goal is to carry out R&D and P&D studies of many products that fall under the scope of cosmetics, food supplements and medical devices, especially R&D and P&D studies of natural, synthetic and biotechnological origin agricultural drug, human and veterinary medicine in a way to include the University-Industry Cooperation protocols.
Within the framework of the management systems and legal regulations we have established in this context, we aim to meet the expectations of the pharmaceutical industry, to produce quality products and services in accordance with GMP and GLP standards, to grow by increasing our profitability and efficiency together with all stakeholders integrated into the system. Based on national and international standards, our primary goal is to provide timely reliable service for customers within the framework of legal legislation with independent, impartial, trained personnel with professional and technical qualifications, who constantly renew and develop themselves, to inform the relevant parties by closely following the current developments regarding the issues within the scope of services, to continuously improve ourselves, to use the most appropriate methods in all test services offered within our center, to establish the most suitable settlement and environmental conditions, to have measurement equipment with internationally accepted criteria, to ensure the sustainability of all these factors, to ensure the satisfaction of all the relevant parties with the awareness of working independently and impartially both for the employees and for the members of the board and committee working on behalf of our center.
ERFARMA, one of the important centers where drug R&D and P&D studies are carried out in Türkiye, has played an important role in the creation and development of the Drug R&D ecosystem in Anatolia. Due to the importance given to the training of qualified personnel for the drug industry in the creation of this ecosystem, it started the first Master’s and Ph D Degrees education in this field in Türkiye, and it has aimed to create a system for performance evaluation in this process with the scholarships it provided for its students.
In addition, training qualified personnel for the system that can progress from incubation centers that started with start-up companies within Technopark to industrial establishments capable of producing pharmaceuticals in this ecosystem is another of its main goals. ERFARMA Management believes that the most important tool for its staff and students to achieve the goals of the institution and fulfill its commitments is the structuring of quality systems.
As stipulated in EN ISO 9001:2015, EN ISO 13485:2016 and 93/42/AT Medical Device Regulations, together with the applicable legislation requirements, all of our staff members are aware of the importance of continuously providing the system and service chain that will fulfill the requirements of personal or corporate initiatives of the sectors they serve.
The primary focus of ERFARMA is to exceed the needs and expectations of companies belonging to these sectors by providing high quality products and services for the satisfaction of all sectors it serves. In order to achieve this, ERFARMA will continue to provide vocational training at all levels and provide information and support with all kinds of equipment in order to increase the knowledge and understanding of its employees. ERFARMA will develop a culture in which all employees will be encouraged to strive for excellence and continuous improvement and the implementation of safe, environmentally friendly and professional working conditions.
As ERFARMA, in all our activities in line with the principles of independence, impartiality and confidentiality, we undertake
• to provide results with continuous reliability by performing inspections and tests according to national or international standards by means of using devices with traceability within the framework of professional and technical practice principles.
• to provide the capacity to meet the conditions of academic researches and the companies it provides services in the tests within the scope of accreditation as a first level laboratory,
• to apply the principles of the quality management system effectively in order to give reliable results,
• to have new current regulations and standards,
• to ensure customer satisfaction by evaluating the complaints of the customers in a fair, transparent and careful manner and fulfilling the feedback as soon as possible in order to ensure and increase customer satisfaction,
• to implement and continuously develop the Integrated Management Systems we have established in all work processes with the participation of all our employees.
• to ensure occupational health and safety (OHS) in our activities, to develop systems to prevent occupational diseases and possible work accidents,

• to implement ERFARMA's information security policies which is valid and compulsory for all ERFARMA personnel using ERFARMA information or work flow systems, regardless of the location or work unit and whether full-time, part-time, permanent or contracted. All persons, such as third party service providers and support personnel affiliated to them, who do not fall into these classifications and who need access to ERFARMA information, must adhere to the general principles of this policy and other security responsibilities and obligations that they must comply with.

• to contribute to the knowledge and technology production of our country through University-Industry Cooperation projects in drug R&D and P&D studies,
• to contribute to the country's economy by constantly increasing the work load.
